According to the World Health Organization, there are three types of Diabetes Mellitus: Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes. Pregnant women may develop Gestational Diabetes and can cease after childbirth. On the other hand, Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes are lifetime conditions.

People who suffer from Type 1 Diabetes do not produce insulin so they need continuous shots to balance their bodies’ insulin levels. What about people with Type 2 Diabetes?
