Low Fat Fudge Brownies (32 servings)
What you’ll need:
3 lg egg whites
2 lg eggs (lightly beaten)
1 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of walnuts (coarsely chopped) [optional]
2/3 cup of unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp backing power
1/4 tsp of salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt together. In an electric mixer beat eggs until foamy then stir in eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and applesauce. Add in cocoa-flour mix and walnuts (optional). Spread into greased baking pan (13×9), and cook for 30 min or until tooth pick is clean.
This dessert per serving is only 72 calories, 1g of fiber and 2g of fat.
